Velocity Dance Crew
Velocity Dance Crew is a community of dancers made up of both students, staff, and alumni who share a passion for the stage. We are not a competition team and our focus is on performing, building confidence, and celebrating the joy of dance. Through appearances at local events and special showcases, our dancers gain valuable experience, grow as artists, and inspire others with their love of movement.

Please use the link below to order your tickets. We are sitting in Section 108. Please purchase your tickets for your family and your dancer. We can move around in our Section once we get there. If you have already purchased your tickets and did not get one for your dancer, I will purchase with my purchase later today. Please let me know asap. Thank you.
Rehearsal Schedule
LARGE GROUP REHEARSAL WILL BE HELD ON A FRIDAY - Possibly Friday December 12 or 19 (To be determined)

Choreo will be taught during Hip Hop on Wednesday (See age appropriate Schedule)
Week Beginning Monday, December 8
Wednesday, December 10 5:00-7:15: (Please attend your regular classes and we will ALSO hold small group rehearsals from 5:00 -7:15)
Thursday, December 11 7:00-8:15 : (Please attend your regular Thursday classes and we will hold small group practices 7:00-8:15 ages 11 and up)
Week Beginning Monday, December 15

Week Beginning Monday, December 22
Monday, December 22: Please the altered class schedule for all dancers. Class for ages 9 - Adult will be 6:15-7:30 For those in attendance we will perform for the other dancers.
Tuesday, December 23: 5:15 - 6:15 (The studio is closed today for regular classes. We are only open for rehearsal)
Saturday, December 27 @ Peoples Bank Arena in Hartford (Formerly the XL Center)
Games starts at 2:00. Please arrive by 12:45.
Please enter through the arena lobby.
Use the Trumbull Street entrance (or the entrance closest to it) to access the lobby area.🚫 Do NOT enter the arena directly from the outside (Church St./Ann Uccello corner). If you go in that way, you’ll be taken straight into the seating area and will not be allowed to exit back to the lobby to meet us.
We’ll be meeting in the lobby near the ticket area, which is only accessible from the Trumbull St. side.
Parents can wait upstairs while we take the students to a practice area @ 1:00. We will go to our seats around 1:30.
Our Performance is at halftime and we will need to exit our seats a few minutes in the first quarter of the game. Please do not let your dancers get any food or drink upon arrival.
Please check the arena website to see what is allowed to bring inside. We need to check about the acceptance of clear water bottles (disposable) for dancers. This rule seems to change yearly.
Harlem Globetrotters - Performance Routines:
All Dancers - Sneakers you can dance in. Nike Airs do not work well on that floor. Converse style sneakers are typically better. PLEASE CLEAN YOUR SNEAKERS.
Black Leggings - Girls
Black Athletic Pants - Boys
Shirt - Black/yellow. If you do not have a shirt, I have a few extras. Or plain black.
